A war of words has broken out between Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, his ex-wife Pamela Anderson and his 21-year-old son Brandon over the physical altercation that took place between Tommy and Brandon on Monday night (March 5th), which sent Tommy to the hospital with a bloodied mouth. Brandon issued a statement to People in the wake of the incident which read, “I’m devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father’s alcoholism. I’ve worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it’s incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition.”

Brandon added, “I wanted my dad’s hopeful sobriety and recovery to be a private family matter but, as a result of his accusations on social media, I feel forced to speak out. I have and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as needed. I love my father and just want to see him sober, happy and healthy.”

  • Tommy quickly denied Brandon’s accusation of alcoholism via Twitter, writing: “LMAAAO!!!! I’m happier than I’ve been in my entire life. I have a few drinks here & there because I’m f**kin’ retired and enjoying my life. I worked 30+ f**kin’ years I deserve it. You didn’t arrange any intervention, you barely spoke to me while u were here. Just coverin ur ass!! See ya later social media! Can’t read anymore liesss.”
  • Anderson, Brandon’s mother, later shared a lengthy statement titled “Alcoholism Is The Devil,” in which she called Tommy’s actions “desperate and humiliating” and said he was “a disaster spinning out of control” who is “not acting like a father.”
  • She added that her two sons with Tommy “have made every attempt to help (their father) in recent months,” insisting that Brandon “does not want to see his dad in jail” and “just wants him to get sober.” Anderson called Tommy “the center of sadness, drama and confusion, jealous of his sons’ talent and beauty from the day they were born.”
  • Tommy responded to Anderson’s statement, saying that he loves his sons, has “given them everything,” and suggested that the whole incident was started by Anderson going on talk shows to speak about her past abuse at the hands of Tommy, “right as soon as I got engaged to my fiancée.”
  • Tommy added, “I messaged (Anderson) several times asking her to stop taking these interviews, that (it) was hurting me and the boys, and she would ignore me.”
  • The 55-year-old drummer also admitted to drinking more “than the average Joe,” but denied having a serious drinking problem. He also denied getting physically aggressive with Brandon, saying, “I didn’t want to hit my son. I never have and I never will.”
  • Tommy is currently engaged to 31-year-old Vine star Brittany Furlan, who was with him at the time of the alleged assault and called 911 immediately after the incident. Police are investigating although no arrests have been made as of yet.
