Two people were arrested over the weekend after an altercation with a neighbor resulted in a search warrant for one apartment.

According to Salem police, they executed a search warrant at the Cottonwood Village apartment of 47-year-old Larry Woodward, where they reportedly discovered multiple air-soft type guns, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

Officers responded to the apartment after 25-year-old Blossom Plumb reportedly became involved in an argument with Woodward’s neighbor.

The neighbor reportedly was banging on the door. Plumb answered the door while armed with a firearm and allegedly threatened to beat up the man before closing the door in his face.

Woodward then answered when the neighbor again knocked on the door, ultimately striking the man.

Police were called and a search warrant issued. Woodward was arrested for alleged possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a citation for possession of cannabis.

Plumb was arrested for alleged aggravated assault, and on outstanding warrants from Clinton, Fayette, and Franklin counties.
