The Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter is hosting the state’s first-ever Community Forum on Alzheimer’s this Wednesday night from 6 to 7:30 in Room F119 at John A. Logan College in Carterville.

This inaugural Community Forum is a community meeting which gathers people together in a neutral setting where they can ask questions about the disease, discuss their experiences, learn about resources, and discover how to engage in the cause. It is designed as a strategy to organize community engagement and better understand how Alzheimer’s programs and services can be responsive to the diverse and unique communities we serve. Some goals of this Community Forum are to listen to the experiences of the community related to the cause and to identify needs, gaps in resources, and opportunities.

Registration is required, so call Becky Doiron at 985-2664 or email bdorion@alz.org.
