On Tuesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX News:

35-year-old Jean Beach of rural Jefferson County was arrested Monday for battery.

25-year-old Yakira Houston of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Monday for driving on a suspended license.

26-year-old Paul Burchell of Herrin was arrested Tuesday for driving under the influence of alcohol.
