On Thursday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX news:

19-year-old Elias Hernandez of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for battery and armed home invasion.

23-year-old Katie Stewart of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for domestic battery.

23-year-old Lamonte Cook of Hamilton, Ohio was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for disorderly conduct and domestic battery.

21-year-old David Young of McLeansboro was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for theft less than $500.

34-year-old Sannon Hill of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for retail theft less than $300.

19-year-old Kolby Bay of Opdyke was arrested Wednesday for domestic battery.

33-year-old Susan Morgan of Macedonia was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for driving on a suspended license and a bond forfeiture warrant.

25-year-old Charles Payton of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for driving without a driver’s license.
