The Centralia Regional Library will be hosting the “Lazerware Virtual Reality Road Show” in July.

This free program will provide customers with an opportunity to experience the ultimate in Virtual Reality (VR) equipment & applications.

Participants will be able to choose between a variety of games, educational apps, field trips and adventures, including, but not limited to:

• Google Earth VR – Walk through Tokyo, around the Eiffel Tower or through the Grand Canyon

• Ocean Rift – An underwater VR Safari. Swim with Manatees, Sharks, or Whales…even Dinosaurs

• The Body VR – Journey Inside the Body to Learn about Cells and Anatomy

• TiltBrush – Draw, Paint and Animate in a 3-Dimensional Workspace

• VR Museum of Fine Art – Experience the World’s finest Art and Masterpieces

The VR Experience will run from Monday, July 2nd through Sunday, July 8th; and will be set up downstairs, next to the circulation area of the library at 515 East Broadway in Centralia.

Reservations are being taken in advance; but walk-ins will be accommodated when there are openings in the schedule. Patrons must visit the library circulation desk to register.

This program will be available to anyone 13 or older; with 30-minutes allocated for each experience. Hours will be Monday–Thursday, 10am-7pm; Friday, 10am-5pm; Saturday, noon-4pm; and Sunday 1-4pm.
