Menards’ newest location in Mt. Vernon officially opens for business Tuesday. Menards is located just west of Interstate 57 at the Veterans Memorial Drive exit.

The store had a contractor’s preview night Monday before the soft opening Tuesday. Menards’ Mt. Vernon General Manager says this store is one of only a handful of stores like it in the country.

The store will have a grand opening in the near future, but that date has not been set.
