A 39-year-old Centralia man is in the Marion County Jail after being arrested Tuesday night for possession of methamphetamine he reportedly dropped in a Wamac convenience store.

According to reports, Jamie Robinson allegedly dropped a baggie of meth while reaching into his pockets in the Casey’s General Store in Wamac.

The package was reportedly found after Robinson had left the store. But police were able to identify him in store video surveillance.

Robinson was taken into custody Tuesday night when he was a bystander at a domestic disturbance in Wamac. He was taken to the Marion County jail where he remains this morning.
