MARION COUNTY — An 18-year-old Salem man is the second person to be arrested in connection with the theft of guns from a rural Salem home.

Alec Sadrieh was arrested Tuesday. He was charged in Marion County court Wednesday with two Class 2 felony counts possession of a stolen firearm.

Sadrieh’s bail was set at $5,000 with the agreement he will have no contact with the alleged victims or their residence.

On Tuesday bail was set at $20,000 for 20-year-old Dante Crosby in connection with the same firearms.

The daughter of the home owners had allegedly invited Sadrieh and Crosby into the home and then picked the lock to the room where her parents kept the handguns, which gave the defendants access to the weapons.

At the time of his Monday arrest, Crosby was free on bond from a June arrest for being a felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanor possessing a firearm without a FOID card.

Both defendants are scheduled for August 14 preliminary hearings.
