MT. VERNON — Mt. Vernon Police Chief Chris Deichman is retiring at the end of the month after serving the city for 29 years.
Deichman says technology has changed policing dramatically over the years.
Deichman’s last day as chief is July 31st. The city is currently in the process of hiring his replacement.
