MT. VERNON — The Mt. Vernon Public Works Department is beginning asphalt work on N. 20th St. from Broadway north to the railroad tracks Wednesday. The road will be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and no street parking will be allowed during this time.
Public Works is asking residents to park their vehicles on adjacent side streets during the closure because they will not have access to their driveways. If you have any questions, you can call the Public Works Department at 242-6853.
