MT. VERNON — Starting Monday Sept. 24th plumbers will begin replacing water meters in Mt. Vernon. There will 60 meters across town replaced as a test of the equipment before full scale replacement begins.

Workers will knock on doors and alert homeowners of the replacement. The homes will be without water for approximately 15 minutes during the swap.
