MARION COUNTY — A 22-year-old Centralia man was sentenced Tuesday in Marion County court to 5-years in prison after he entered into a plea agreement on three separate felony drug and battery cases.

Harrion Hawkins had admitted to a petition to revoke his probation in a 2017 heroin possession case. Judge Mark Stedelin sentenced him in that case on Tuesday to 3-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

That sentence will be served concurrently with two other sentences, one for 5-years in a 2017 case of Class 2 felony aggravated battery of a police officer and one for 5-years in a 2018 heroin case.

Hawkins pleaded guilty Tuesday in the last two cases. All three sentences are to be served concurrently with day-for-day credit and time served credit given.

More than $630 seized at the time of the 2018 arrest has been forfeited and Hawkins will have to serve one-year mandatory supervised release when he completes his prison sentence.
