CENTRALIA — Police are investigating a late Saturday night armed robbery at the VP Racing Convenience store in the 100 block of South Elm Street in Centralia.

According to Centralia police, around 10:30pm, a man wearing a black hoodie and bandanna walked into the VP store with his hand in his pocket imulating that he had a gun and demanded the clerk put the money into a Walmart bag he was holding in his other hand.

When the man appeared to become agitated, the clerk complied. The man then ran out of the store on foot with an unspecified amount of cash.

Police continue to look for the suspect.

No injuries were reported.
