A 28-year-old Centralia woman was taken to the hospital Monday morning for treatment of injuries she suffered in a one-vehicle crash on Selmaville Road just southwest of Salem.

According to reports, Jasmine Heern was traveling southbound around 7:15 a.m. on Selmaville Road near the intersection with Red Stripe Road when she ran off the right side of the road, lost control, skidded off the left side of the road, struck the ditch, and overturned.

Salem Fire Protection District firefighters and Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene but say Heern was out of the car when they arrived. She was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
