Salem police arrested a 29-year-old Centralia man over the weekend on multiple charges after he was reportedly found passed out in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot.
Quinton Upchurch was arrested around 7:13 p.m. Saturday, after the Salem K-9 alerted on his car. A bottle of what is believed to be Xanax was allegedly located in the car along with a stolen blank check believed to have been taken during a recent residential burglary in Centralia.
Upchurch was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, and driving on a suspended license.
He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he remains awaiting the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.
