MARION COUNTY — A Boyd man pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge in Marion County Court Friday.

In a plea deal 29-year-old Jonathon Kaufman pleaded guilty to the Class 3 Felony charge of possession of less than five grams of methampetamine. Kaufman was sentenced to 18 months probation with credit for 234 days time served. He was also ordered to undergo drug and alcohol treatment and evaluation.

In exchange for the guilty plea, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen vehicle, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia charges and an additional possession of meth charge were dropped.
