A one-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Centralia sent a 28-year-old woman to a St. Louis area hospital for treatment after she was found unconscious at the scene by emergency personnel.
According to reports, around 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Sarina Clark, of Centralia was traveling northbound on North Elm Street when she apparently lost control of her van, which drove partially up the side of a tree and overturned onto the driver’s side.
Centralia City firefighters were called to the scene to extricate Clark from her vehicle.
She was initially taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment before being airlifted to a St. Louis area hospital.
