MT. VERNON — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX News:

27-year-old George Fowler of McLeansboro was arrested Tuesday for criminal contempt and on a bond forfeiture warrant.

31-year-old Joann Dixon of Harker Heights, TX was arrested Tuesday for civil contempt.

33-year-old George White of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for meth delivery less than five grams, manufacturing / distribution of look-alike substance, and possession of meth less than five grams.

34-year-old Stephanie Potter of Joplin, MO was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for retail theft less than $300.
