SPRINGFIELD (RFD) — The state keeps reporting jobs numbers that continue to scrape historical lows. The Illinois Department of Employment Security says that more people are staying employed or keep getting work. Bob Gough with IDES says the numbers show a strong economy.

There are 14 metro areas in the state and job gains were found in 10 of them.
