UNION COUNTY — A 60-year-old Kentucky woman who was reported missing and believed to be in Southern Illinois was found safe Saturday night on Interstate 57 near Lick Creek.

Bobye Copeland was initially taken to the Union County Hospital for evaluation. She had last been seen dropping her husband off early Friday morning in Graves County, Kentucky.

Copeland was reported missing Saturday morning and her family had initially reported her phone pinging on Interstate 57 near Odin, Illinois. Her son took to Facebook asking people for help finding his mom.
