ALEXANDER COUNTY — An Old Olive Branch man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Alexander County early Sunday morning.

Illinois State Police say 38-year-old Jason Klein was driving his pickup truck south on Route 3 a half-mile north of the intersection with Route 127 around 1:15 when he struck a guardrail and rolled multiple times before coming to rest in the roadway.

Klein was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.

ISP says alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor to the crash.
