MT. VERNON — On Tuesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

28-year-old William South of Salem was arrested Monday for theft less than $500.

28-year-old Rejika Peoples of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Monday for domestic battery.

59-year-old Claude Kirkwood of Centralia was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Monday for criminal trespass to land and domestic battery.

44-year-old Douglas Sadler of Mt. Vernon was arrested Monday for driving on a suspended license.

38-year-old Terry Turner of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for driving on a suspended license.
