MCLEANSBORO — The city of McLeansboro was notified Wednesday by the Illinois EPA that it has to hold a special meeting today in order to complete an urgently needed sewer project request.

So, a special meeting has been scheduled for this afternoon at 4 at City Hall to discuss and/or take action on authorizing an urgent sewer extension project in the 400 block of West St. Charles Avenue.

The meeting is open to the public.
