MT. VERNON — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

40-year-old Shannon Taylor of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for resisting a peace officer and on a bond forfeiture warrant.

36-year-old Diana Pickett of Sesser was arrested Wednesday for battery, criminal trespass to residence, forgery, and possession of a blank script.
