MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $200,000 for a 31-year-old Salem man charged Thursday in Marion County court with Class X felony home invasion.

This is the third felony arrest since February for Michael Dedmond. He was arrested in February and charged with Class 3 felony burglary and in a separate incident with Class 4 felony criminal trespass.

In the criminal trespass case Deadmond was arrested after a Centralia father and son discovered Deadmond in their kitchen.

The burglary charge came earlier in the month when he was allegedly seen entering a pickup truck in Salem.

He was free on a $3,000 recognizance bond in the first case and on $500 cash bond in the second case at the time of his latest arrest.

If able to post $20,000 cash bond, Deadmond is prohibited from having contact with his alleged victim or the victim’s residence.
