CARMI — A Carmi woman is facing drug charges after Carmi Police stopped her around 10:30 Thursday morning on Cherry Street due to the officer recognizing her and knowing she was wanted on a felony warrant for theft.
According to an arrest and booking report from Carmi Police, 27-year-old Tiffany A. Perusky admitted she had meth stuffed in her bra which was removed by a female correctional officer. The weight of the baggy was 3.14 grams.
A search of her vehicle produced three Scheduled 2 Vyvanse pills, 1 gram of cannabis, scales, cannabis wax, baggy and pen with meth residue, glass pipe and a metal grinder.
Perusky was charged with use prohibited, possession of controlled substance (pills), possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Perusky was taken to the White County Jail. According to the release, her bond was set at $2,500 for the warrant arrest. Bond had yet to be set on the new charges.
