CENTRALIA — The Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees will be naming a new and interim member as a 20-year member of the board has announced his resignation.
Dr. Dee Boswell’s letter of resignation was read at the close of Monday night’s board meeting.
Boswell said his family’s health made it impossible for him to participate in any meaningful way in college activities. Boswell said his association with the college has been a highlight of his life and that Kaskaskia College will remain in his heart forever.
Trustees are elected to their seats. The board has 60 days to name a replacement who will serve the next two years when the seat will be open for a two year unexpired term to complete Boswell’s six year term.
