SALINE COUNTY — The Saline County Sheriff’s Office says residents in Saline County are getting calls from scammers posing as someone from the Social Security Administration requesting that the resident obtain a Google Card and give the account number to the caller.

Officials say this is a scam. Do not give out personal information over the phone, including any account numbers.

The Social Security Administration will not call you on the phone soliciting for money on your account.

If you receive one of these calls, just hang up.
