CARBONDALE — A Carbondale man was taken to the Jackson County Jail after Carbondale Police responded to the 400 block of Robert A. Stalls Avenue in reference to shots fired around 11:45 Monday morning.

A police investigation revealed suspects fired shots in this area and no one was injured.

Officers located and arrested 21-year-old Quinn Payne-Brandon in the area. He is charged with aggravated unlawful use of weapons and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.

Carbondale Police continue to investigate the incident.
