WHITE COUNTY — White County Sheriff Doug Meier has released the sheriff’s office report for April.
The sheriff says revenue from the jail came in at $78,797.60. Revenue from dispatch was $9,000. Revenue from the sheriff’s office was $2,634.49. There were 65 inmates in the county jail. The sheriff’s office responded to 363 calls for service. White County Dispatch responded to 1,542 calls for service. That breaks down to 436 911 calls and 1106 non-911 calls.
As for this month, Advance Corrections Healthcare began providing services on May 23. Training for all correction officers will be held on May 22 and 23 in the training room.
