JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Chief Public Defender is running for circuit judge in Illinois’ Second Judicial District in the 2020 election.

Scott Quinn looks to fill the seat vacated by his good friend David Overstreet. Quinn says he has a well-round background of law practice that will make him the most qualified for the seat.

Illinois’s Second Judicial Circuit is made up of Crawford, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jefferson, Lawrence, Richland, Wabash, Wayne, and White Counties in southern and southeastern Illinois.
