MCLEANSBORO — The McLeansboro Farmers Market opens for business today at the corner of Randolph and Jackson in McLeansboro.
Justin Barrow, with the City of McLeansboro, says the Farmers Market will be open from noon to 5 p.m. every Wednesday throughout the summer until the first week in October.
Barrow says they currently have about two to three vendors who set up shop, but are looking for more from in and around Hamilton County to participate.
Barrow says since the program is getting started, they don’t have a way for you to make your purchases electronically using your debit card or your phone at this time, so bring cash.
