CLINTON COUNTY — The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced the intermittent restriction to one lane of Illinois 160 in Clinton County next week.
A section of Illinois 160 from just south of Illinois 161 to the intersection of Illinois 177 will be intermittently restricted to one lane starting Tuesday, June 10, weather permitting.
The work will take place daily from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Traffic in both directions will be maintained using flaggers.
The work is necessary to complete pavement repairs and asphalt resurfacing and is expected to be completed by late August.
Motorists should allow extra time for travel through the area. You are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones, obey the speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
