CENTRALIA — Church crews working to renovate the old Centralia High School have made an interesting discovery hidden within a heating vent for decades.
In a social media post, City Hope Church pastor Seth Baltzell says a stash of what they assume were stolen wallets from the mid-1940s were recently found in a heat vent.
He says the majority of the wallets belonged to females. In hopes of reuniting the women or their loved ones with the wallets, he listed the following names found inside them: Sally Sloan, Dorris Gray, Betty June Sisson, Phyllis Adams, Mary Lou Cover, Rosemary Brueggeman, Jean Hudson, and Mary Agnes Gilmor.
