MCLEANSBORO — The Hamilton County Board is set to meet tonight at 6 at the courthouse in McLeansboro.
Sheriff Tracy Lakin is expected to review the sheriff’s report with board members along with discussing applications for the deputy position. There will also be discussion regarding the merit commission and school resource officer according to the meeting agenda.
Hamilton Memorial Hospital CEO Victoria Woodrow will discuss ambulance transfers with the board.
In other business, the board will hear from Bellwether LLC regarding cannabis regulation, Fiscal Year 2020 budget preparations and discussion about animal control.
The board is also expected to accept a check for almost $15,500 from the City of McLeansboro per the Central Dispatch agreement. According to the agenda, there is an adjustment retroactive to Feb. 3 of this year for almost $11,500.
The meeting is open to the public.
