CENTRALIA — The Centralia Police Department continues to seek qualified applicants for the position of Police Officer.

Applications are available on-line at cityofcentralia.org  or at City Hall, 101 S. Locust St, Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm.  Applications must be turned in at Centralia City Hall, 101 S. Locust St by Monday, September 9th, at 4:00pm.

The starting salary for a Probationary Patrolman is currently $48,270, after six month $49,507 and after one year $51,983.

Probationary Police Officers receive 12 paid vacation days per year, 12 paid holidays per year and an excellent health insurance benefits package.

Currently there is one opening for the position of police officer, which the Fire and Police Commission will move to fill upon completion of the initial testing phase.
