SALEM — A 31-year-old Herrin man was sentenced Friday in Marion County court to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to delivery of methamphetamine.
Keith Horton was arrested as part of an operation conducted by the Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force stemming from the delivery of less than five grams of meth in Salem in April 2017.
In addition to the five-year prison sentence, Horton must also serve two years mandatory supervised release.
He will serve his prison term concurrently with an eight-year sentence handed down in Franklin County for possession of meth with the intent to deliver.
