A bridge weight restriction will go into effect on the U.S. 60/62 Mississippi River Bridge at Cairo starting Thursday, Oct. 24.

According to IDOT, combination vehicles will be restricted to 37 tons. Single unit vehicles will be restricted to 33 tons.
