SESSER — The city of Sesser recently announced that it has been awarded a Delta Regional Authority Grant for $109,000 for waterline improvements.

According to Sesser Mayor Jason Ashmore, the grant will be used to replace aging waterlines on Franklin Street.

The mayor says water infrastructure is a key component of economic development and the city’s downtown revitalization program.
