HAMILTON COUNTY — A McLeansboro man was sentenced Friday in Hamilton County Court after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine under 5 grams – a Class 3 felony.
Hamilton County State’s Attorney Justin Hood says Jeffrey Parker will serve four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and will serve one year of mandatory supervised release after his release from custody. His case will run concurrent with a plea in White County where his probation was revoked and he was sentenced to four years on a 2014 case. The Hamilton County case was handled by the McLeansboro Police Department.
