SOUTHERN ILLINOIS — A 26-year-old Centralia man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on meth-related and weapons charges.
Stephen Kristopher Martin, also known as “Moe” Martin, is facing up to 20 years in federal prison and a $1 million fine if convicted on each of three charges accusing him of distributing methamphetamine. A charge of unlawful possession of a firearm could result in as much as a 10-year prison sentence.
The four-count indictment was the result of an investigation conducted by members of an FBI Task Force, including the Centralia Police Department, Carlyle Police Department, along with the Marion, Clinton and Washington County Sheriff’s offices. A trial date for Martin has not yet been set.
