CLINTON COUNTY — Clinton County State’s Attorney John Hudspeth has announced he will not seek reelection in 2020, opening up the seat he’s held for more than a decade.
Hudspeth has served as Clinton County’s top prosecutor since 2008. He says it has been his privilege to serve the residents of Clinton County as their state’s attorney for the last 11 years.
His current term will expire following the 2020 General Election and he says he will not be a candidate for reelection. He says at this point in his life he looks forward to having more time for recreational pursuits and spending more time with his family.
His son, Tim Hudspeth has announced he’s running for Marion County State’s Attorney in the March Primary Election against fellow Republican and current state’s attorney Bill Milner.
