MCLEANSBORO — A McLeansboro man was arrested after McLeansboro Police and Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a fight in progress in the 300 block of East Broadway just before 10 Saturday night.

McLeansboro Police Chief Nathan Taylor says when officers arrived, they learned that 36-year-old Donald Green had been in an altercation with a woman and then was walking in the roadway yelling at passing motorists.

Officers got a signed complaint for disorderly conduct. Green was taken to the White County Jail and held on $100 cash bond.
