MCLEANSBORO — A McLeansboro man is facing several charges including possession of methamphetamine after McLeansboro Police pulled him over having a taillight out on his truck and for not using a turn signal around 7:45 Sunday night.

McLeansboro Police Chief Nathan Taylor says it was determined 40-year-old James B. Robinson’s driver’s license was revoked. He was placed under arrest for driving on a revoked license.

Police conducted an inventory of Robinson’s truck and found items containing suspected methamphetamine.

Robinson was cited for possessing meth along with failure to use a turn signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving on a revoked driver’s license. He was taken to the White County Jail pending bond being set.
