BENTON — A Benton man died in a crash involving the motorcycle he was driving and a car Saturday night at the intersection of Bailey Lane and Fairland Street in Benton.

Benton Police say 26-year-old Ian R. Fowler sustained major injuries and was airlifted for further medical treatment. He later died from his injuries. Twenty-year-old Staci L. Cosby of Benton was driving the car involved in the crash. She was cited for failure to yield and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was charged and taken to the Franklin County Jail.

Police say the crash is still under investigation. Additional charges are pending.
