WHITE COUNTY — A Carmi man will spend the next 50 years in state prison for child pornography.
White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud says 37-year-old Charles E. Pugh was sentenced Monday in White County Court.
Pugh was convicted of one count of dissemination of child pornography and four counts of possession of child pornography.
Aud says all sentences will run consecutive to one another, not concurrently with one another. He added that the sentence on the Class X dissemination charge was the maximum sentence
Aud says the children depicted in the child pornography were under the age of 13.
Pugh’s case was investigated by members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Pugh was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle. Judge William Hudson was the presiding judge.
