MARION COUNTY, IL — A 23-year-old Salem woman is in the Marion County Jail after being arrested on a petition to revoke her probation on a 2016 case in which she pleaded guilty to two of 10 felony child sex crime charges against her.
Dallas Holt was sentenced in 2017 to 4-years sex offender probation after she earlier pleaded guilty in Marion County Court. She’s now accused of failing to register as a sex offender.
She reportedly violated the terms of her probation and the sex offender registry in 2018 and was re-sentenced to 4-years sex offender probation.
In October 2016, Holt and her mother Patricia Speagle were arrested along with her step-father Gary Speagle on multiple charges each of child sex offenses.
Patricia and Gary Speagle ultimately pleaded guilty to a portion of the charges they each faced. They were each sentenced to 110 years in prison.
Holt was originally charged with eight Class 1 felony sex offenses, on Class X, and one Class 2 felony.
Defense attorney Steve Quinn had earlier brought forth information from the Amy Center indicating that when Holt was a child she had allegedly been a victim of sexual abuse. Her alleged abuser was reportedly never brought to justice.
She pleaded guilty to two amended counts Class 2 felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a family member who was 9-years-old.
