MT. VERNON, IL — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX/WDML News:

42-year-old Christina Reyes of Mt. Vernon was arrested Tuesday by the Mt. Vernon Police Department for Retail Theft.

44-year-old Luis De Jesus-Merced of Junction City, Kansas was arrested Tuesday for Child Pornography depicting a victim under the age of 13.
