CENTRALIA, IL — A 26-year-old Mascoutah man posted $1,500 cash bond and was released Friday from the Marion County Jail following his arrest Thursday by Centralia police who found him running naked on South Poplar Street. Tyler Duke reportedly struggled with officers attempting to take him into custody.
Officers reportedly found cannabis with Duke’s clothing that was in a vehicle he had parked on the Huck’s parking lot. He was charged Friday with Class 2 felony aggravated battery of a peace officer, along with Class 4 felonies for aggravated assault of a peace officer, along and possession of between 30 and 100 grams of cannabis.
Ironically, he’s next due in court April 20 for a preliminary hearing and a first appearance with his court appointed attorney.
